Tommy Pham suspended 3 games for slapping Joc Pederson

Major League Baseball issued a three-game suspension to Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham on Saturday for "inappropriate conduct" during his pregame altercation with San Francisco Giants outfielder Joc Pederson.

The suspension includes Friday night's game in which Pham did not play, meaning he will miss the rest of the weekend series in Cincinnati. He also was fined an undisclosed amount.
