49ers TE George Kittle (groin) inactive vs. Bears

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was inactive for Sunday's soggy season opener at Chicago.

Kittle, 28, sustained a groin injury in Monday's practice and was not able to get back on the field this week.

The three-time Pro Bowl selection caught 71 passes for 910 yards and six touchdowns in 14 starts last season.
