Man Utd news LIVE: Carragher labels Ferdinand a Ronaldo ‘fan boy’, Leicester ‘interested’ in Van de Beek move – latest
LIVERPOOL icon Jamie Carragher has labelled Rio Ferdinand a Cristiano Ronaldo ‘fan boy’ for defending his former teammate after the Manchester derby.
Ferdinand, 43, believes that Manchester United Erik Ten Hag made a mistake by not bringing on Ronaldo in Sunday’s mullering by Manchester City.
And the former United defender replied to Carragher by saying: “Carra you still upset he didn’t shake ur hand at Old Trafford?”
Meanwhile, Leicester are reportedly interested taking Donny van de Beek off United’s hand.
Van de Beek has been surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and reports suggest that the Dutchman has been granted permission to leave in January.
