Best Sega CD games ever

The Sega CD, known as the Mega-CD elsewhere, was the disc-drive peripheral for the Sega Genesis, and while this was a simple console “add-on,” the CDs allowed for things that simply weren’t possible on the base console. Full-motion videos (FMVs), real music, more detailed artwork, and much more was on the table for Sega CD games. 

While the Sega CD didn’t have as big a library as the Sega Genesis itself, it got loads of excellent games, more than enough to fill out our top ten Sega CD games lists below. In this list we’ve restricted our selection to one entry per series, which really wasn’t much of a limiter with Sega CD games, honestly.
