Meanwhile, Erik Ten Hag has labelled captain Harry Maguire’s return to the team as ‘brilliant’.

The defender had been on a poor run of form, leading to being dropped, but played the full 90 against West Ham in their 1-0 win.

With Raphael Varane having suffered a long-term injury, Maguire will look to reclaim his spot as a starter over the coming months.
