MANCHESTER UNITED could be SOLD by the Glazer family, according to reports.

Sky News say that the Glazers are ‘preparing to sell’ the club, with a statement on the matter said to be imminent.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is NO longer a Manchester United player.

The Old Trafford legend’s association with the club where he made his reputation and returned as a hero has reached a sorry conclusion.

Ronaldo, 37, had no chance of a return after his earth-shattering interview with Piers on TalkTV, which was revealed via SunSport first.

A United statement read: “Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect.

“The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future.”
