Rhode Island cancels game vs. Milwaukee due to COVID outbreak

Rhode Island announced that Thursday's scheduled home game against Milwaukee was canceled after multiple players and staff members in the men's basketball program tested positive for COVID-19.

The nonconference game will not be made up this season.

The announcement comes one day after the Rams (4-8) played Sunday in a loss at Georgia State.
