Australian Open 2023 odds: Djokovic odds shorten after Kyrgios OUT, Raducanu 75/1, Murray 250/1
NOVAK DJOKOVIC’S odds of winning the Australian Open have shortened with the news Nick Kyrgios is OUT.
The Serb was deported from the country last year owing to his Covid vaccination status.

With the action getting under way this week, Betfair made Djokovic the 10/11 favourite to lift a record TENTH Aussie Open – and match Rafa Nadal’s record of 22 Grand Slam titles.
But he’s shortened into 4/5 now with Nick Kyrgios withdrawing through injury on the eve of his first match, joining world No1 Carlos Alcaraz on the treatment table.
Daniil Medvedev – who Djokovic beat in straight sets in the warm-up event in Adelaide – is second favourite at 5/1.
Nadal, Jannik Sinner and Stefanos Tsitsipas (all 13/1) will all fancy their chances.
From a British perspective, Cam Norrie (45/1), Andy Murray (250/1) and Dan Evans (500/1) look to have quite the task ahead of them.

While in the women’s draw, Iga Swiatek unsurprisingly leads the betting as the 23/10 favourite.
Again, she’s helped by the fact Ash Barty – current holder of the Aussie Open – retired during the year in 2022.
Swiatek leads big-hitting Belarussian Aryna Sabalenka (7/1) and Jessica Pegula (9/1) at the top of the market with Betfair.
Coco Gauff is an 11/1 shot, with Caroline Garcia (13/1) and Ons Jabeur (14/1) next.
Emma Raducanu has fought to be fit after leaving her warm-up tournament in tears through injury.
She is 75/1 to win this competition with Betfair.
