Nottingham Forest in talks with Newcastle to sign Chris Wood on loan with an option to buy

Steve Cooper's side require cover in the final third of the pitch as Taiwo Awoniyi is out for two months with a groin injury. Wood is open to the loan move which would be with an option to buy.
