Mavericks F Christian Wood (thumb) out at least 1 week

Dallas Mavericks forward Christian Wood is expected to be sidelined at least one week while nursing a fracture of his left thumb, the team announced Thursday.

Wood sustained the injury during the second quarter of Dallas' 130-122 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday. The setback was the third in a row and fifth in six games for the Mavericks.
