Giannis Antetokounmpo Hit Ronaldo’s Iconic Celebration Before Leagues Cup Final

Prior to Lionel Messi looking to lead Inter Miami CF  to a Leagues Cup title over Nashville SC on Saturday, sports fans were treated to an NBA star performing one of the most iconic celebrations in all of sports.

Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who a minority owner of Nashville SC, showed off his soccer talents prior to the match.

The two-time NBA MVP, after blasting a kick into an empty net from about 35 yards at GEODIS Park in Nashville, sprinted to the center of the pitch and performed Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic “SIU” celebration.

While Antetokounmpo will not be mistaken for Ronaldo anytime soon, he admirably nailed the celebration, jumping vertically while landing with his arms and hands spread open, screaming "Siuuu".

While the 2021 NBA champion will clearly rooting against Messi on Saturday night, he had no issue paying tribute to another of the sport’s greatest-ever players.
