The eyes of the college football world were on Eugene, Oregon, on Saturday afternoon as No. 19 Colorado faced its toughest test of the young season against No. 10 Oregon.
However, observers who were hoping for a competitive matchup came away disappointed after the Ducks (4-0) raced out to a 35-point halftime lead en route to a 42-6 victory.
It was a humbling setback for the Buffaloes (3-1), who had captivated fans nationwide with as much swagger as any team in recent memory. The result also provided validation for the Ducks, who clearly took the Buffs’ challenge seriously.
Despite the Ducks’ being favored by three touchdowns by oddsmakers, the college football world wasn’t expecting such a lopsided score.

we don’t have to be weird about Colorado on either side. they’ve already exceeded expectations and been a really fun story in CFB, but were always going to struggle against teams with better depth and trench players based on their roster makeup/turnover this season.
There is nothing wrong with Dan Lanning’s approach or intensity for HIS team. His job is to motivate HIS players, prop up HIS program and people are LOVING IT. Well that’s exactly what Coach Prime is doing for Colorado, so why do people hate it?
