Anuj visits Anupamaa and confesses that he is not responsible for Samar's death. Anupamaa refuses to speak to him and prepares to go to the police station. Anuj insists on accompanying her, but she rejects his offer. Meanwhile, at the police station, Anupamaa and Vanraj encounter Samar's murderer and his father. Suresh, the father, tries to defend his son's actions and offers money and a house in exchange for dropping the case.
