The 3 most disagreeable betting lines of NFL Week 7: Saints are getting way too much credit (for nothing)

There’s a reason the phrase “any given Sunday” exists, and we saw that this past week with both the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles suffering upset losses (so much for my Week 6 prediction of the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets losing by multiple scores).

After those games, I won’t be surprised by any result this week. But I still have thoughts going into these games, and I can’t help but wonder why the New Orleans Saints are favored over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Outside of shutting out the New England Patriots a couple weeks ago, the Saints haven’t been impressive at all. They’re coming off an uninspiring loss to the Houston Texans, and now I’m supposed to believe they’ll beat Jacksonville? I don’t.
