Kerala government announces cash award for athletes who clinched medals in 19th Asian Games

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) [India], October 18 (ANI): A cash award was announced for athletes from Kerala who participated in the recently concluded 19th Asian Games in Zhangzhou, China and won medals.

The gold medalist will be given Rs 25 lakh, silver medalist Rs 19 lakh and bronze medalist Rs 12.5 lakh. The decision was taken in the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday in Thiruvananthapuram.
