Dorival Jr officially takes on Brazil lead, starting with England and Spain friendlies
January 11 – Dorival Jr has been officially confirmed as the new head coach of the Brazil national side after he left Sao Paulo earlier this week.
Brazil parted company with interim coach Fernando Diniz on Friday after he oversaw his country’s worst start to a World Cup qualifying campaign in recent history. After six matches Brazil are sixth in the table, eight points behind leader Argentina.
The 61-year-old Dorival’s first matches in charge of Brazil will be prestigious friendlies in March against England and Spain in Europe.
