1 bettor won over $100,000 thanks to Hideki Matsuyama's incredible comeback win at Genesis Invitational
It has been the season of the long-shot winner on the PGA Tour, with the first six tournament winners all cashing tickets of 100-1 or longer pre-tournament odds.
Hideki Matsuyama (75-1) didn’t have quite as long pre-tournament odds before winning the Genesis Invitational on Sunday, but he was as high as 200-1 at FanDuel Sportsbook to win before the final round. In that final round, he shot a 9-under 62 to win by three shots over Luke List. It was the lowest closing round ever by a winning golfer at Riviera, according to ESPN.
One bettor (@GREEAR10) wagered $1,350 on Hideki Matsuyama to win the Genesis Invitational at 75-1 odds at @DKSportsbook.
