Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai revolves around Abhira and Armaan's story. Akshara protects Abhira from Yuvraj. Abhira decides to marry Yuvraj for the sake of the Poddars. Ruhi and Armaan, along with Madhav, try to stop the wedding. Shivam Khajuria, Shruti Ulfat, and Shruti Rawat also appear in the show.
