Mattress Mack put down $1 million on Houston men's basketball to win 2024 March Madness
Mattress Mack is at it again.
Mega-bettor Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale has once again wagered a large sum of money on a Texas-based team in a major American sporting event.
Per Caesars Sportsbook, McIngvale has followed tradition and put down $1 million on the Houston Cougars men’s basketball team to win a national championship this year at the close of March Madness.
Right now, Houston has +750 odds to win the men’s NCAA tournament, which would send “Mattress Mack” home with quite a betting payday.
However, there are plenty of scenarios where McIngvale doesn’t cash out his bet, as there can be only two winners in March Madness.

We’ll know later in the spring if McIngvale’s million-dollar bet on Houston will pay off, or if another team will keep the million bucks from “Mattress Mack” in Vegas.
It’s always fascinating to track a “Mattress Mack” bet, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on this one as we get closer to the men’s NCAA basketball national title game.
