Capitals trade F Anthony Mantha to Golden Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights acquired forward Anthony Mantha from the Washington Capitals on Tuesday in exchange for two draft picks.

Vegas will send Washington its second-round draft pick in 2024 and its fourth-round pick in 2026. The Capitals also retained 50 percent of Mantha's salary in the trade.

Mantha, 29, was Washington's second-leading goal-scorer with 20 on the season. H
