Flyers place D Nick Seeler on injured reserve

The Philadelphia Flyers placed defenseman Nick Seeler on injured reserve Wednesday.

He took a puck off his left ankle/foot in the second period of Monday's shootout loss to the St. Louis Blues.

Seeler, 30, will be sidelined for a minimum of seven days and will miss at least two games.

He has one goal, 11 assists, a plus-15 rating and 78 penalty minutes in 63 games this
