Jalen Brunson won a roast battle by revealing what Josh Hart told a ref before getting ejected against the Pacers
The Knicks have enjoyed a resurgence the past couple years thanks in part to the brilliant strategy of building a team comprised of a bunch of longtime friends.
That couldn’t be more true when it comes to Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.
The two players go all the way back to their time at Villanova and remained close friends throughout their NBA careers. As teammates, their chemistry is undeniable on and off the court. And in a recent Hot Ones: Truth or Dab episode, we got to see how the two players have no problem embarrassing each other on camera.
It’s how Brunson knew exactly what it took to win a roast battle against Hart. (Warning: Some NSFW language in the tweet and video)
Brunson won the battle by putting Hart on the spot about his ejection last season against the Pacers. During the broadcast, we could see Hart shout for a foul on a drive to the basket and then turn to referee Dannica Mosher. But we didn’t know what was said … until now.
According to Brunson, Hart drew that second technical by reminding Mosher about the lack of playoff assignments that season. He really went there.
Yeah, that’s one way to get ejected.
Still, fans loved seeing the chemistry between Hart and Brunson on display.
