Bracket luck is a real thing. Sometimes, a team needs things to break just the right way for it to go on a run.
Look at LSU’s journey last season. In the Elite Eight, the Tigers didn’t have to face No. 1 Indiana or No. 4 Villanova thanks to Miami’s magical run, where the 9-seed Hurricanes upset both along the way. And in the national championship game, LSU didn’t have to take on South Carolina, a team it lost to by 24 points in the regular season.
