Man Utd football director John Murtough out as Ashworth and Wilcox head for Old Trafford
April 10 – Manchester United football director John Murtough has stepped down after more than 10 years in the role, with Newcastle’s Dan Ashworth set to be appointed as part of a restructuring at the club under Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
“We want to thank John for his loyal service over many years, and for his support and integrity during this period of transition. He leaves with our best wishes for the future,” said Ratcliffe.
