Nestor Cortes found a new loophole to exploit to mess with hitters' timing and it's so fun
Nestor Cortes has been messing with hitters for years, whether it’s a quick pitch or weird moves with his body or a funky delayed-windup or all of the above.
And now, he’s added … a fake pitch to the arsenal? It has MLB fans split over whether its awesome or should be illegal, but I say … it’s fun! Baseball should be fun! Let the New York Yankees pitcher do his thing.
On Sunday, we saw this fake pitch in the middle of his windup that he threw to Andres Gimenez for a swinging strike. This is ballet, this is art, this is just awesome:

This so-called 'move' by Nestor Cortes should be illegal. A very mediocre pitcher trying to find an unethical advantage. This type of stuff belongs in Savannah (Bananas), not in the Major Leagues. pic.twitter.com/7h7gzc5DhP
