Reverend Owusu-Bempah has openly criticized President Akufo-Addo, expressing disappointment in what he perceives as undue influence from individuals around him. During a sermon, Reverend Owusu-Bempah lamented that the former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and NPP stalwart Gabby Otchere-Darko have succeded in influencing the President 39;s decisions in national affairs.
