Bayern vs Real Madrid preview
We’re down to the final four in this year’s Champions League.
And whoever progresses from this tie between Bayern and Real Madrid will almost certainly head into the showpiece final as favourites.
Arsenal vs Manchester City was the expected semi final line-up by many pundits and those in the game, so for both to be gone is somewhat of a surprise.
But these sides have been here and done it plenty of times before and it’s no surprise to see them contesting at this stage.
Both sides are fully focused on this two-legged tie, too. Bayern have already lost the league and Madrid are 13 points clear in LaLiga with five games to play.
They last met competitively in the 2018 competition at this very stage, with Madrid’s 2-1 victory in Munich followed up with a 2-2 draw at the Bernabeu, with Madrid going on to beat Liverpool in the final.
