There was an abundance of high school sports action in the Greater Savannah area last week. The high school football regular season is winding down and Benedictine, Jenkins and Bethesda clinched region titles with important wins. Savannah Christian's region title hopes are still alive as quarterback Blaise Thomas led the Raiders to a win over visiting Swainsboro — setting up a showdown at Toombs County Friday night for the region championship.
