Video: Vardy scores against Juventus for second goal in three games
Jamie Vardy has now scored twice in his last three matches after claiming a late consolation goal for Cremonese in their 2-1 defeat against Luciano Spalletti’s Juventus on Saturday evening.
The former England international used his pace and strength to get the better of Federico Gatti after a long ball over the top, carried the ball into the area and dispatched past Michele Di Gregorio into the bottom corner.
Vardy, who joined Cremonese after 13 years with Leicester City over the summer, has now scored twice in his last three Serie A matches, and is now the team’s joint second-highest goalscorer in the league and across all competitions. Only Federico Bonazzoli (4) has scored more than the Englishman for Cremonese this term.
