Burger King in Peru was closed down and faces discrimination sue
The "Municipalidad de Surco" sued a Burger King fast food restaurant in Lima, Peru. This is due to an episode of discrimination. The complaint was made after a video was posted on Facebook. The footage was recorded by a client, who reported that Burger King workers removed a child selling candy on the street and that the client had invited him to lunch. According to some eyewitnesses on Facebook, she also invited the boy to eat when he sold his products outside the premises and watched other children playing in the children's area. The child sat in one of the dining room chairs while the client bought a hamburger. However, a security guard removed him from the premises. In the Facebook video, the woman's complaint to one of the workers is heard. The employee told him that the boy was accustomed to entering the premises and that it was taken out "so as not to disturb the customers".
