Violence erupts at anti-fascist rally in Bologna
Ten students and two police officers were hurt when around 100 leftist protesters tried to block an election campaign appearance by the Forza Nuova leader Roberto Fiore.
Local media say the number of protesters surged to over a thousand after the demonstration descended into chaos. They were eventually dispersed after several baton charges by riot police.
