Voter sends donation of 'thoughts and prayers' to GOP Rep

A photo of a donation of "thoughts and prayers" to a GOP lawmaker has gone viral in the wake of the high school shooting in Florida.

The image of a check made out to Rep. Jack Bergman (R-Mich.) and accompanying note was posted on Reddit Friday, garnering more than 300 comments, and reported by the Detroit Free .

"Dear Rep. Bergman - Since you and your colleagues in Congress seem to feel that this is the solution to mass murder, please accept this contribution," the note reads.
