Members of Congress visit Joint Multinational Training Group in Ukraine

Yavoriv, Ukraine -- U.S. Representative Anthony Brown (D-M.D.) and U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), visited the men and women assigned to the JMTG-U during a visit to the Yavoriv Combat Training Center (CTC) here Feb. 23. During the visit, the representatives met with key leaders, ate lunch with Soldiers, and observed sniper training. Currently more than 220 New York Army National Guard Soldiers are stationed at the CTC where they are working with the Ukrainian Army while they strive to obtain their goal of attaining NATO interoperability.
