Football: Paris Saint Germain striker Neymar to undergo operation this week in Brazil on fractured metatarsal

Paris St Germain forward Neymar will be operated in Brazil at the end of this week after he suffered a fractured metatarsal and a sprained ankle on Sunday, the club said.

"After tests, and with the player's agreement, it has been decided that surgery is the best option," PSG said in a statement on Wednesday. "Neymar Jr will be operated in Brazil at the end of the week."

PSG bought Neymar last summer for a record-breaking 222 million euros.
