Snow falls on the majestic looking Fountains Abbey in North Yorkshire.

Incredible aerials and sledging children as the historic Fountains Abbey near Ripon in North Yorkshire is brought to life by the heavy snowfall today. The 'Beast From The East' finally arrived yesterday and brought with it freezing temperatures, snow and travel chaos. Much of the country saw heavy snowfall causing school closures, grounded flights and rail cancellations.
