Giant snow drifts bring Greater Manchester roads to a standstill

Roads are blocked by blizzard conditions this morning (March 1) in the village of Nangreaves in Bury, Greater Manchester, stopping locals from getting out.

The storm and snowfall is the latest in the "Beast from the East" weather system, that has caused widespread delays and difficulties in travel across the UK for the past several days.
