Suspects Run from Police Right to Police Station

On Feb. 16, 2018, Peoria PD were dispatched to a possible shoplifting in the area of N. Lake Pleasant Pkwy. While enroute to the call one officer noticed a car matching the description at a nearby gas station. As the officer approached the car, two suspects took off running directly toward the front doors of the north precinct building. There is a very large "Peoria Police" sign above the door. They continued to run and hop the fence into the secure area of the PD. It just so happens that several officers were at the facility training that day. Both suspects were arrested on several charges.
