San Joaquin County supervisor trading blows with man on street

Surveillance video released Wednesday by the Stockton Police Department shows a Feb. 2 incident in which San Joaquin County Supervisor Tom Patti and an unknown man trading punches in the street outside a bar on California Street.

Patti, 54, said he was coming to the aid of a 20-year-old woman in the sedan who was being beaten by the unknown man, according to The Record newspaper. Police released the video so it might help someone identify the man.
