Georgia State Lawmakers Strip $50M Fuel Tax Waiver from bill after Delta Cuts Ties with the NRA
It's a robot voice video so don't watch if it offends you. This was the only one available.
The Georgia state congress has passed a bill to the governor to sign that will strip a &50 million tax break on jet fuel from a budget bill in response to Delta cutting ties to the NRA. As LT Gov Cagle said, it isn't right to strip away discounts given to the law abiding citizens just to make a political statement. Delta claims it was just trying to stay neutral when it cut ties with the NRA
It looks like they decided to try and placate the liberals and it backfired. Maybe they can petition some of the liberal congress people that are now millionaires to pay them the $50 million
