'Play dead': 911 calls from Florida shooting released

Haunting 911 audio from a February 14th school shooting in Parkland, Florida that left 17 killed was released by Broward County Sheriff's Office on Thursday (March 8).

911 operators fielded a number of calls from parents who were texting or speaking to their children on the phone as they were hiding from the gunman.

"I love you, I love you! Lord God!" one is heard telling her child on a 911 call. "Play dead!" she said, as police stormed the room.

A Florida grand jury formally indicted Nikolas Cruz on Wednesday (March 7) on 17 counts of premeditated murder in the first degree and 17 counts of attempted murder in the first degree for last month's shooting spree at a Parkland high school, prosecutors said.
