The Midlands Motor Industry. Rubery Owen car components factory

Saturday Cinema - the Mota Industry... was going to leave this till-morrow but the production processes of the components - especially the wheel rims which are formed from coiled steel strip is quite something to see (01:39 - 02:30) the film is worth watching just for these archaic but once modern fabrication processes.

Do Note; this is a long-ish film aimed more at the aficionados of the genre who will be well rewarded...if you don't like what you see within a few moments you are strongly advised to Trap - and to do it quickly for this isn't for you, sorry.

(The Midlands was once the centre for Automotive parts and many a family raised their standard of living in part due to the better wages in the 'Motor Industry' - t'was good at the time..)
