Russian Central Election Committee comes under cyberattack on presidential election day

An cyberattack on Russia's Central Election Commission which is ongoing has targeted its information center, according to the body's secretary. Earlier today the commission's website came under a three hour DDoS attack from 15 countries soon after the vote started, according to chairperson Ella Pamfilova.

"We are registering what is in fact a cyberattack on our information center," the commission's secretary, Maya Grishina, said.
