Off duty officer killed during attempt robbery

A military police officer was shot dead during a robbery attempt on Tuesday night (21) at a gas station on the fringes of BR 163, between Gua'ira and Marechal C^andido Rondon (Brazil).
Corporal F'abio Pac'ifico, who for many years worked for the PM of Marechal C^andido Rondon, Mercedes and Gua'ira, was retired and worked as a security guard at the Maracaju Post.
Two armed bandits arrived by motorcycle on the premises and announced the assault. Pacific reacted, but was hit by three shots of firearm. One of the thieves was also shot.
The military police officer was rescued and referred to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Gua'ira, but did not resist the injuries. The body was taken to the IML of Toledo for necropsy examination. The robbers then left the motorcycle used in the robbery and fled on foot.
A police siege was set up to try to locate the criminals and one of them has already been arrested. Pacific Cape was married and his wife is pregnant.
