People take part in March for Our Lives rally in Illinois

The March for Our Lives, a nationwide protest against gun violence, is taking place today. Survivors at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, organized the march after 17 people were fatally shot at their school last month.

In the video, an eyewitness captured people taking part in a march in Schaumburg, Illinois.

"Summoned by high school students swept up in school violence, thousands swarmed into the nation's capital and cities across America on Saturday to march for gun control and ignite political activism among the young," The reported.
