Elephants on motorway after circus lorry overturns

Police had to close the A30 motorway on Monday in Pozo Canada near Albacete south east of Madrid after the extraordinary crash.

One elephant died and several others were injured after the circus lorry they were in overturned.

The dead animal was removed from a ditch by the side of the motorway.
