Boy going for a stretch in elevator ends up destroying door

CCTV video captured a boy destroying an elevator door simply by stretching in central China on March 27.

In the clip, filmed in Zhengzhou City in Henan Province, an 11-year-old boy in an elevator places his foot against the door while stretching.

As he pushes his leg against it, the door suddenly breaks away.

The boy then quickly presses the emergency button on the control panel.

According to local media, the boy's mum refused to pay the elevator's repair fee when asked by the building's property manager and thought they should thank her son instead because it highlighted the weak doors.
