The ferocious fire that burned the Hotel Novita Jambi

Great fire struck Hotel Novita. This luxury hotel, located in the heart of Jambi City, was once the seat of President Soesilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) during his visit to Jambi.

According to information, fire is known since Monday morning, April 9, 2018 at around 06:00 pm. Until Monday night, at around 22:00 pm, the blackout process is still ongoing. Because, a cloud of smoke is still out.

About 15 fire trucks belonging to Fire Department (Damkar) Jambi City alternately spray water. But until the late afternoon, the fire was even more enlarged.

The large number of residents who wanted to see the incident caused Damkar officers had difficulty extinguishing the fire. Not only damkar cars, four units of water canon car belonging to Police Jambi join fighting fire.

According to the head of Damkar Kota Jambi, Ridwan, for 12 hours officers are still struggling to extinguish the blazing fire.
