Highway Head On Crash

A crash involving multiple vehicles closed all lanes of southbound I-25 at 29th Street in Pueblo Colorado.

I-25 southbound was closed at Highway 50 at about 5:40 p.m. for the six-vehicle crash. Pueblo Police say there were no deaths in the incident. The driver of the truck that authorities believe caused the crash was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A juvenile in one of the other cars involved was treated for a minor cut.

The highway was closed for a long time as crews cleaned up tar that spilt from the trailer that the truck was carrying. The highway opened back up just before 9 p.m.

The driver is expected to face charges, but the exact charges aren't clear.
