Watch huge sheets of ice break off of the Big Sioux River

Huge sheets of ice broke off of the Big Sioux River in South Dakota on April 2.

In the video, massive sheets of ice can be seen breaking off the Big Sioux River as they fall over a dam.

"The ice coming off from the Big Sioux River located in eastern South Dakota is an annual event," the filmer said. "However, it's unusual to have somebody there to film it."
