China hits U.S. sorghum imports with hefty deposit of 179% after finding the U.S. grain has damaged the domestic industry by dumping heavily subsidized American sorghum on China. This has essentially stopped the entire US sorghum export to China. Sorghum producers are crying unfair and asking why they should be made to pay for Trump's steel and aluminium tariff on China. Meanwhile, the farmers noticed the Chinese have anticipated this ruling by purchase their entire 2018 needs from other producers such as Australia and Canada.
